Ken Harris – Keys

I began playing in Boise long ago when my teen rock band, The Hangmen, played Saturdays at The Highland Bomb Shelter next to the Crane Creek Country Club. Later I moved to Boston where I led my own bands and also played with Chuck Berry, Motown’s Junior Walker, James Cotton and Luther “Guitar Junior” Johnson. I also played in New Orleans and Italy with singer Johnny Adams. After moving back to Boise, I helped open up The Blues Bouquet nightclub and formed(and still play with)The Hoochie Coochie Men. At the Blues Bouquet, the HC Men backed up Pinetop Perkins, Billy Boy Arnold, Michelle Willson, Coco Montoya, Carey Bell and other well-known Blues artists.
