Troy Oppie – Trombone

Troy Oppie is a Seattle native, local television sports reporter, brewer of beer and general purpose clown. when he’s not screwing around with those things, he’s probably playing the trombone with the windows open so he can hear the neighborhood dogs howl along. Troy has tromboned his way through various school and local bands for over 20 years, and has been fortunate enough to play on stage at Lincoln Center in NYC, the Montreaux Jazz Festival (Switzerland) and North Sea Jazz festival (Netherlands) among many others. How’d he do it? Troy invented special coat-tail gripping gloves at a very young age and overall is just one lucky dude. If you see him on the street, just yell ‘go Seahawks!’
